Being QiGong

The Chinese word literally means “the art of looking inside yourself to read your health and the condition of your Qi”.   Learning Qigong is practial, easy and fun with an intent to be willing to learn something new.  This allows you to move forward through the different levels of your own understanding and ultimately to better health and a higher level of mental, physical and spiritual functioning.  As your intention so is your will. As is your will, so is your destiny.

This system includes many important points which are key to making your practice simple and real, including:

  • The root of the practice is in breathing and relaxing. The movements and forms are secondary to these two main points.
  • The first time you practice, the mind is too engaged in learning and paying attention, therefore, your first couple sessions do not show you what the practice is truly like. Accept this, relax, let go, and the true practice will unfold.
  • Qigong is not a competition – Qigong is completely internal and there is no external focus whatsoever.
